Best Friend For Life: Aang (believed not to have survived the typhoon a hundred years ago).

Brief History:
Keira grew up at the Southern Air Temple with her best friend, Aang, training with Monk Gyatso. She got her Sky Bison at age nine, and at age twelve discovered her best friend was the Avatar, a surprise to say the least. When Aang later told her that the Council was going to send him away, to the Eastern Air Temple, she immediately went to Gyatso. Gyatso came up with a plan to stop them from taking Aang away with some minor details provided by Keira—but the night they planned to enact it, Aang left. Gyatso discovered his runaway note and brought it to her, and she took off to find Aang and bring him back. The storm swept her far south, and Era was eventually driven into the water by the wind, which refused to provide any lift at all. Keira lost conciseness, and next thing she knew, she was waking up, cold, wet, and on a sandy beach. Through a long series of events, she eventually discovered the current date, the war, and the secret Central Air Temple, where she currently lives, although she likes to frequent Kyoshi Island whenever possible.
